It provides a clear overview of API endpoints, their statuses, and assigned maintainers to ensure both teams can work efficiently and monitor progress in real time.

Purpose

Primary Goals:

Fast-Track Productivity:
Clear API statuses allow frontend developers to proceed (with mock data if needed), reducing delays from incomplete backend tasks.

Promote Transparency:
Track backend progress and identify the developer responsible for each endpoint.

Improve Collaboration:
Backend developers can see their assignments, and frontend developers can plan integration timelines accordingly.

API Endpoint Statuses

Each API endpoint is tagged with a status indicating its current phase in the development lifecycle:

Status	Description
`Designing`	API is in the design phase. Not yet available for testing or frontend use.
`Pending`	Awaiting action or review. Not ready for frontend interaction.
`Developing`	Implementation in progress. Frontend may use mock data during this phase.
`Testing`	Endpoint is being tested. Frontend can continue using mock data.
`Released`	API is live and available. Frontend can now test and use real data.

Workflow Guidelines

Do Not Use: Endpoints in Designing or Pending stages.

Use Mock Data: For endpoints in Developing or Testing.

Use Live Data: Only when endpoint is marked Released.

👤 Maintainers

During the Developing stage, a Maintainer will be assigned to each endpoint. This backend developer is your go-to contact for questions or clarifications.

This structure ensures both frontend and backend teams can work in parallel with:

Live visibility into endpoint readiness

Fewer blockers and bottlenecks
